Water provides the technology - sellers provide the products and services.

Is Water the seller?

No.

Water does not sell, ship, or provide any products or services listed on the platform.

All transactions are between the Seller and the Buyer.

How do payments work?

Payments are processed through trusted third-party payment providers such as Stripe.

Water does not store your payment details and does not control bank processing times.

What fees does Water charge?

Per completed transaction:

  • Platform Fee: 9.99%
  • Payment processing: 2.99% + $0.30

Fees are automatically deducted at checkout.

When do I get paid?

  • Sellers must complete identity and payout verification
  • Payout timing is determined by the payment provider
  • Payouts may be delayed due to:
  • Disputes or chargebacks
  • Fraud or compliance reviews
  • Policy or Terms violations

Water does not control payout speed once funds are released to the payment provider.

What can I sell on Water?

You can sell:

  • Physical products
  • Digital products
  • Paid sessions, consultations, coaching, or services
  • Event access or subscriptions (where enabled)

You must be legally allowed to sell what you offer.

What is not allowed?

You may not sell or promote:

  • Counterfeit or replica goods
  • Illegal, restricted, or regulated products or services
  • Hazardous or unsafe items
  • Misleading or deceptive listings
  • Anything that violates applicable laws or platform policies

Violations may result in account action.

Do I need licenses or certifications to offer services?

If your service requires licensing, certification, or regulatory approval, you are responsible for holding and complying with those requirements.

Water does not verify professional credentials unless explicitly stated.

Does Water provide medical, legal, or financial advice?

No.

Water is a technology platform only and does not provide professional advice of any kind.

What happens if there is a dispute?

  • Buyers and Sellers should try to resolve issues directly
  • Disputes or chargebacks may result in temporary payout holds
  • Payment provider decisions are final
  • Water may assist with review but does not guarantee outcomes

Can Water suspend or terminate accounts?

Yes.

If Terms or policies are violated, Water may take actions including:

  • Content removal or warnings
  • Feature restrictions or payout holds
  • Account suspension or termination

Are there additional rules for certain features?

Yes.

Some features may have additional terms, such as:

  • Tipping
  • Promotions or coupons
  • Subscriptions
  • Events or ticketed access
  • Affiliate or referral programs

Using those features means you agree to any applicable supplemental terms.

Is Water responsible for shipping or service quality?

No.

Sellers are fully responsible for fulfillment, delivery, service quality, and outcomes.

Can these Terms change?
